Global Business Management Plus Internship Program

Combine your certificate program with an internship in Riverside for a 6-month program

Participants who successfully complete the
10-week Global Business Management
(GBM) certificate
program may enter the 10-week Internship
Program which provides placement in an
American company. The internship
includes both work and academic
components. Participants may choose to
do the intern in Riverside.

Participants are not guaranteed a
particular job or company, but we will try
our best to satisfy your preferences.

If you are applying for an F-1 student visa,
it is advisable to apply for both the Global
Business Management Program and the
Internship program at the same time.
There is a short break between the two
programs (see schedule), with a longer
break before and after the fall quarter.

Application Deadline
Application deadline for the Internship
Programs is one month before the starting
date of the program.
Applicants must submit an up-to-date
resumé, a cover letter and an “Internship
Request Form.”

Requirements of Program
Participants will be expected to work 20-30 hours per week (unpaid), attend a 4-hour weekly seminar on topics relevant to the
workplace and complete assigned papers and projects. Participants are responsible for providing their own transportation for the work placement.
