The Summer Academy Program offers high
school students the opportunity to experience life at an American
university campus in a ten-week or five-week residential program.
The curriculum includes a regular UC Riverside Summer Sessions course,
optional college preparatory sessions and English Proficiency classes.
It also includes social activities and optional weekend fun trips.
Summer Academy Program applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have completed the 9th, 10th, or 11th grade in high
school.
- Must have a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.5 or better.
- Must be at least 15 years old.
- Must be fluent in the English language with a TOEFL score
of 550 or better or must be attending a school in which English
is the language of instruction.
The Summer Academy Program is an excellent opportunity for academic and personal
growth.
