Use the Tomás Rivera, Science, Media, Music and Palm Desert Libraries

UCR Extension students are extended borrowing privileges without charge at the Tomás Rivera, Science, Media, Music, and Palm Desert libraries. If you want a library card, present verification of enrollment to Student Services, who will issue a white library card. Verification of enrollment and a white library card need to be presented to the Circulation Desk of the Tomás Rivera Library, the Science Library or other UC Riverside library branches. The libraries are open 91 hours per week, including weekends. For hours, call (951) 827-3229 for a recorded message. The libraries' collections include 2.3 million volumes, 1.7 million microforms, 23,783 serial subscriptions, more than 287 electronic databases and many other resources. The libraries recently implemented Link+, a self-borrowing consortium representing more than 33 academic and public libraries in California and Nevada. Extension students are eligible to use this service, which is available through Scotty, the libraries' online catalog.
