Inservice Programs
Education Extension presents over 200 specialized training and staff development programs in content areas at local school sites and early care facilities each year. Extension can customize both credit and noncredit courses that meet the BTSA standards 13 and 15-20 in SB 2042 credentialing requirements. Credit programs, from individual classes to entire certificate programs, are offered in each content area, generally on a contract basis. Any of the certificate programs, courses or series of courses on most topics in education may be offered through the inservice format. Education Extension will design staff development programs specifically to meet the individual needs of a school, district or center, and to fulfill the staff development requirements by the state or fulfill BTSA requirements.
