Organizational Leadership and Development Certificate

The Organizational Leadership and Development Certificate is designed for professionals who serve in administrative or senior professional staff positions. Participants may include managers, supervisors, project leads, program administrators, principals, directors, assistant directors or managers and analysts. This-five course program covers administrative leadership issues, supervision and team building, project and human resources management.

Program Objectives
This program provides a comprehensive overview of organizational leadership and development concerns. Upon completion of the program, participants will understand how to assess an organization’s culture and environment, how to improve organizational effectiveness, where and when to use certain leadership styles and approaches to improve performance, how to more effectively supervise and manage personnel and teams, how to manage projects, and how to set priorities for outcomes and results across the organization.

Who Can Benefit
Participants in this program represent a variety of backgrounds, positions and perspectives. The program is well suited for mid-level professionals and managers who may be in a role of supervising others, setting policy, establishing benchmarks or strategic direction for an organization and/or those who aspire to move into a managerial or executive position. The training and education provided through this program are transferable to public, private and nonprofit organizations.
