Conflict Resolution for Educators

For school administrators, teachers, counselors, nurses, school psychologists, pupil services personnel, classified staff, school security police, parents, school trustees and representatives of community agencies.

The goal of this program is to help participants develop expertise and skills in conflict prevention, intervention and resolution in educational settings. Completion of the program will enable participants to identify with other professionals, share ways for resolving conflict without violence and explore mediation and problem-solving skills.

This program will provide a setting in which productive, positive dialogue can be modeled, new techniques for dealing with conflict can be learned and intervention skills can be developed.
